I am currently an Environmental Scientist at Environmental Sciences Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), with a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). With my study and research experience in environmental engineering/science as well as biology, I developed broad research interests, including Biogeochemistry, Ecotoxicology, and Environmental Chemistry, from molecular to ecosystem scale. In particular, I am interested in the biogeochemical cycling of environmental pollutants in the biosphere, trace metal bioaccumulation, hydrological transport of metal and nutrients, and ecotoxicology of emerging pollutants in aquatic ecosystems under rapid environmental change.
